Travelling on a Budget

Travelling is what a lot of people like to experience. People normally travel to get off their everyday routine, and to explore the world. The idea of getting away to travel is a tempting idea. We are always exposed to different attractions that we see in the media. We just want to go to these attractions and visit them. Advertisements make it seem simple for us to pack our bags and go right? Well, a lot of us do not travel like we want to because we simply cannot afford it. So how can we travel while living on a budget? This blog will look at how we can make the best of our travels while avoiding unnecessary spending.

How to Travel on a Budget

Travelling on a budget can be a difficult challenge to accomplish. It involves downsizing on spending money which can be a struggle. Although cutting costs in travelling means giving up on luxuries (ex. Fancy Hotels, Expensive Restarurants), there are ways that you can spend less, but getting the most out of your trip.

  1. Take a coach bus instead of a plane

If your destination is a day’s drive from your original destination, you may want to consider bussing there instead flying. Although not the most efficient way of getting to Point B, it will save you money, and you get to enjoy the scenery which can be rewarding. You will also have arrived at your destination the same day you would if you had taken a plane. You would just need more time to get to your destination.

2. Stay at a Hostel

Staying in a Hostel may not be an ideal situation for some travellers since it involves sharing a dorm with roommates. However, Hostels are generally inexpensive, and it beats going to a inexpensive hotel or motel which may not be clean. Staying at Hostels are particularly great for solo travellers because they usually offer activities which is a great opportunity to meet fellow travellers, and to explore the city you are visiting. If you like to socialize, staying at a Hostel is definitely for you. If you are a reserved person, staying at a Hostel is not bad because the majority of travellers are kind, and you should not have any problems getting along with them regardless. Just remember to bring earplugs, in case you have that snoring roommate.

3. Avoid Dining at Expensive Restaurants

While it may be tempting to dine at a fine restaurant, it may be more worth going to a less expensive restaurant, and have a decent meal. This blogger recommends looking at a tour guide book for the cities you are visiting. Most of the books should have a rating system based on the quality of the restaurant, and the price range. You can also ask a friend who has been or lived in the city you are visiting for the best place to dine.

4. Only Shop for Items That You Need

Aside from shopping to buy souvenirs for you and your loved ones, it is best to avoid spending on items that you already have at home.

These tips should help out your next budget friendly vacation. If you have any other ways to save money while traveling, feel free to write down on the comments below.

Until my next blog post, take care and thanks for reading.

New Years Resolutions

Hello there fellow readers and welcome to my first blog post of 2020.

The beginning of a new year is a opportunity for people to come up with New Years resolutions on becoming a new and improved person. The most common resolutions people have are to lose weight, quit smoking, eat healthier, read more, and being careful with their budget. People believe that when the calendar flips to January 1st, they will become a more responsible and changed person. Most of the time though, people break their resolutions. It is most likely because people realize that change does not come quickly, and that they just give up; even if they fall off the bandwagon just once. So what is the best way to make changes in your everyday life? Why not set out goals?

Having goals can help you set out deadlines on when you want to reach your objectives. For example, “I want to lose 20 pounds in 60 days”. Before setting out your goals though, be sure to follow the SMART chart before writing them down (Smart, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-Framed).

First thing you should do is to write down your New Years resolutions, and turn them into goals. For example, instead of saying “I’m going to lose weight”, set a time frame on when you would like to lose a certain amount of weight. Just be sure that the scenario is realistic.

In terms of goals involving eating healthier, it is best to not go on a sudden diet. It can be difficult to change diets overnight and therefore reducing the amount of unhealthy food you put in your body is a great start into changing your eating habits. Another way is to reduce the portions of food you put in your dish. Once you have completely stopped eating junk food, it should be easier to stick with healthy nutrition. Remember that you can have a cheat day once a week. Just be sure that it is only one day a week and only if you want to relax with your eating habits.

Setting out goals is the best method to make your changes work because the time and energy to reach them. There is plenty of time on making changes, and if you do not reach your goals on time, check out your progress and allow yourself some extra time to reach your final goal.

Remember that any goals you have can been anytime in the year, and not just in January. You can make changes in your lifestyle anytime of the year.

Until my next blog post, take care and thanks for reading.

2010s: From Student to Discomfort

This blog will take a different approach this New Years Eve. Normally, I would be writing about motivation and topics concerning society. On this last day of 2019, I shall review of what this blogger has been through and goals that I hope to accomplish in 2020.

Comfortable in Social Science (2010-2012)

The last ten years has been a bumpy one has I have struggled of I want to do in life. The direction of where I want to go in life as changed constantly. At the beginning of the decade, I was at Vanier College in Social Science. After graduated from Vanier College in December 2011, I enrolled at Concordia University, majoring in Urban Studies, and minoring in Sociology. My first semester saw me enrolled in 4 classes. I did poorly in my classes as the amount of work could not have been kept up and therefore was placed on academic probation in May 2012.

Travel Sales (2012-2014)

In September 2012, I gave a shot of getting a Trade, and therefore enrolled in Travel Sales at the John F. Kennedy Business Centre. The program was a year long and received my Diploma in 2013. However, I didn’t find work in the Travel Industry, and decided that I wanted a higher education.

Continuing Education (2014-2017)

In the summer of 2014, I became interstate’s in going into the business world. Perhaps because I am good with numbers or the taught of business fascinated me. Of course, to get into a career program in Accounting in a University Level required that I had advanced math. By then it was 2014. That summer, I basically “restarted”, and enrolled at a adult education centre to receive my advance grade 10 math. It was indivalized, and it took me a year and a half to complete my math. At the same time, I enrolled in the Continuing Education program at Vanier College. During that time, I enrolled in a couple of courses related to accounting and business. I was enrolled from January 2015 to May 2016 when I shifted my focus on getting my pre-calculus math.

The Return to Concordia (2017-present)

In 2017, I applied for re-admission to Concordia. A week letter, I got the permission of being re-admitted and was very happy that I had gotten a second chance. The goal was to get my pre-requisites to get into the Statistics program at Concordia. In September 2017, to avoid the mistake made in 2012, I enrolled in two sociology courses for the Fall and Winter Semesters. The transition went well and despite some bumpy roads ahead, I completed enough credits for me to receive a minor in Sociology in December 2019. I registered in a Pre-Calclus math course to help me warm up my mathematical skills. The class was a struggle, and only passed after attempting the course for a third time. Realizing that I wanted to go into creativity, I finally stopped taking math courses after passing pre-cal in April 2019.

Seeking Discomfort (2019-Present)

The past year has had my life go into a different direction. After learning about Yes Theory, I was inspired to seek discomfort, and reach my goals. I have learned that the only way that I will accomplish many things in life is to get out of my comfort zone, and put in the effort and time to achieve your dreams whatever it takes.

As the decade comes to an end, I am finding myself interested in focusing on my creative side. I plan on doing so by attending meetups and networking events that are relevant for me; as well as to create content that will motivate people to achieve their dreams; regardless of their disability or any roadblock that stands in their way.

So for 2020, I hope to launch my personal projects, and to keep on travelling. In terms of continuing my education, I plan on switching my major to Communications or Creative writing for the Fall 2020 semester.

It is been a absolute pleasure on blogging in the past, and you can expect new material throughout 2020!

Until next time, take care and thanks for reading.

Happy New Year!

Christmas in New York City

Recently, this blogger took a bus from Montreal to New York City. The ride to New York was long, but comfortable. When arriving in New York, I was amazed by all of the hustle and bustle of the crowded city. As one can expect when walking through the streets of Manhattan, there was so much traffic all over the city with cars, buses, and taxis trying to get by. It is impossible to imagine driving in Manhattan.

The purpose of this trip was to experience the Christmas season in New York. It was lovely to see the city being decorated for the holidays, from the window view at Macy’s to viewing the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. This blog will feature the best of New York City during the Christmas Holidays; as well as the various attractions that I visited.

Rockefeller Center

Passing by Rockefeller Center in December is a must. There is this huge gigantic Christmas Tree located in Rockefeller Plaza between 49th and 50th streets. It is lit every year starting the Wednesday night after Thanksgiving, and you can enjoy looking at the tree through early January. Skating in Rockefeller Plaza is also a popular activity to do. There is a skating rink right below the plaza. It can get crowded though as the rink allows up to 150 people at a time. The cost for General Admission is up to $35 during the Holiday peak season.

The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in all its glory

Macy’s Herald Square Christmas Windows

Each year, the Macy’s department store in Manhattan presents a Christmas display on their store windows. The department store has six displays, and attracts up to 10,000 people during peak hours. It is something that you can not miss while walking through 34th street and Broadway. The display will continue to delight people passing by through January 1st.

The “believe” sign featured during the Christmas holidays in front of Macy’s.

Other Activities That This Blogger Enjoyed

Other than browsing through the Christmas decorations of New York, this blogger went to several places in the city.

New York City Museum: The New York City museum features the history of New York City dating back to the 1600s. It is a great place to visit if you are interested in learning meow about how New York City became the city that it is today. It is located on East Central Park Avenue and 103rd streets in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Eataly: An Italian institution that has 37 locations around the world, it is a great place to experience the Italian food culture. The place features a restaurant, bakery, and more. It is located on fifth avenue and W 23rd street. They also have a second location on Liberty Street near the 9/11 memorial.

Zibetto Expresso Bar: This little gem that is located on Avenue of the Americans (sixth street) between 48th and 49th avenues features paninis, sweets, and coffees. Personally, I had the soppressata pinion with a cappuccino, and I must say that they were amazing. Anyone that needs their cafe fix while walking through the city should pass by this gem. They also have two other locations in the city.

Enjoying a nice cappuccino!

Friends Apartment: The friends apartment refers to the apartment on the corner of Bedford and Grove streets in the Greenwich Village of Manhattan. Although the series was filmed in Los Angeles, the exterior shots were filmed in Manhattan. It attracts about a dozen people a day as they pass by to take pictures of the iconic apartment.

The friends apartment

Brooklyn Bridge: This delightful bridge is a popular attractions too towards. Perhaps it has to do with the gorgeous views of the city, especially at night when the bridge is light up.

Little Italy: A proper spot to experience Italian cuisine. It is home to many Italian shops, restaurants, and pastries.

Times Square: Also known as the crossroads of the world, Times Square is home to several shops and broadway shows. It is well known as the sight of the ball drop that occurs every year on New Years eve.

9/11 Memorial Museum: The museum is located underneath where the Twin Towers once stood. General admission is $26, and it will take you directly below two where the owners once stood. Be prepared to bring tissues as it will bring back memories of the horrific events of September 11, 2001. It is very lovely on how the museum is designed, and is a wonderful way to pay tribute to those who were killed in the 9/11 attacks.

Top of the Rock: Located in Rockefeller Center, the top of the rock refers to being on top of the Rockefeller building. It offers 360 views of the city and beyond.

Central Park: This adoring green landscape is located in the heart of uptown. It stretches from 59th street, all the way up to 110th street. It composes 840 acres.

Recap

My trip to New York City was a remarkable experience. It was exciting to see the spirit of New York during the Holiday season. For those that love Christmas, I would highly recommend that you take a trip to New York. The city is filled with Christmas cheer, and going to places like the Christmas Market (which I unfortunately didn’t end up going), and Rockefeller Center will definitely put you in a cheerful and festive mood. It is recommended that you get around the city by subway or even walk around if the attractions aren’t far apart.

Unfroutantely I did not get to pass by all the neighbourhoods of the city. New York is just too big to do so in one trip. I will try to cover the neighbourhood that I did not get to visit, the next time I come back.

Until my next blog post, take care and thanks for reading.

Christmas Season

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Or so the song says. As we enter another Christmas season (or Hanaukah, Kwanza, or if you do not celebrate any holiday) here comes the hustle and bustle of shoppers going after the finest toys while companies are taking advantage of the holiday season by advertising their trendiest products. We can agree that Christmas has become too commercial. So what can we do to make Christmas as the holiday that is meant to be?

Holiday Rush

Ah! The hustle and bustle to get that favourite toy that your child wants from Santa. The long lines at stores just to checkout. The congestion to get to your local mall as it is lined up with cars trying to get through. Just the thought of going through the holiday rush makes me anxious.

How can we get through the shopping season without feeling stressed? A obvious strategy is to start early. Try to do your Christmas shopping as early as possible, and try to avoid waiting until the last few days prior to Christmas. It may not always be possible, but if you make time and do your shopping early in the season, you will feel good that you have brought everyone’s gifts, and you can wrap them underneath the tree early. This will be a great reminder that all of the gifts are wrapped, and you will one thing off your Christmas to do list.

Christmas Parties

Christmas parties is a common event that takes places in the weeks leading up to Christmas. It is to mark the end of the year, and get colleagues together. With Christmas parties comes booze, and booze can make people intoxicated. As you likely know, drinking and driving do not mix. While it can be tempting to have a few drinks, unless you have a designated driver that can bring you home, it is best to limit the amount of drinks you have at the party. Try to drink early and have the booze where you off as the night progresses. Case your inner judgement and avoid getting behind the wheel after a night of drinking. Call a cab, uber or if your town offers someone to escort you home, use it. Come back home alive!

Hosting a Christmas dinner can definitely be overwhelming with the amount of food needed to feed all of your guests. Another issue is that some family members may not get along with others. It can be pretty difficult to deal with all of the guests. To make a Christmas dinner fun and entertaining, you can set up some activities that will bring people together. Playing board games that involve trivia or guessing can make the event entertaining and make people laugh. Best to avoid discussion like politics and religion as these topics can lead to division if your guests have different political perspectives. If you are preparing the food, make sure that you have the money to spend on all the food or you can make it a potluck where everyone brings something. Most importantly, enjoy your time with loved ones, and put your personal issues aside in order to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Same applies to whatever holiday you will be celebrating. Just have a good time!

Reducing Stress During the Holiday Season

The holiday season can be a stressful time for a lot of people. Not everyone has family or friends they can go to, and may spend Christmas alone which can be very though. Although it is important to help the less fortunate around Christmas time, remember that they need donations all year round, and not just at Christmas. So, remember that although life can be rough, remember on how lucky you are that you have a roof over your head, and that you have good friends and family.

To help ease the stress of the holidays, meditate up to 15 minutes a day, and try to exercise before and after Christmas. Even though you will likely gain a little weight over the holidays, you can easily recover once the holidays are over. The extra pounds is just a little burst.

As the holiday season fast approaches, remember to think about what the true meaning of the Holiday Season is about. It is about spending time with loved ones and appreciate everything you have as not everyone is so lucky. Wishing you all the best for this upcoming holiday season!

Until my next blog post,

Take care and thanks for reading.

Positive Motivation

Life can be very cruel. There appears to be negative energy around us rather it is people that brings us down or we are constantly thinking negative thoughts. Although we try to keep the good thought, it seems that bad ones keep rushing back inside. We tend to look at the worst case scenario. Why is that? What can we do to make ourselves feel better, and at ease. This blogger will try to tackle why anxiety seems to be in a way of everything that we want to accomplish and how we can change that.

Worst Case Scenario

The reasons why we tend to have negative thoughts on our mind is because we constantly worry about our worst case scenario. The reason why we set our minds to the worst case scenario is because we do not want to feel, and then… Boom! Something bad happens.

All of a sudden, our world comes crashing down, and we just do not have the energy to think positive thoughts. The worst case scenario can assist of a death of a loved one, not getting the job you wanted, being stood up by your crush, or finding out that you can not go on vacation anymore, among others.

The Dreadfulness of Anxiety

When we feel anxious, we start to feel this huge sense of dread. Sometimes, anxiety can come rushing straight to us because we are in a situation that gets us nervous or because negative feelings come to us out of nowhere. It is frustrating and stressful when feeling anxious when we cannot figure out what is bothering us. The best thing we can do for ourselves is to take a brisk walk, talk to someone about it or try to remember a moment when we felt proud about ourselves.

Why it is Critical to Stay Positive

While the world we live in can be a cruel and unfair place, it is important to try and find positive thoughts. The way to have positive motivation is to be around people that are open-minded, and will not throw their personal problems to your face (or at the very least will not start yelling when doing so). If you feel that you have a friend or a family ember that brings in negative energy around you, you may want to hang out with them less, or go even further and not talk to them. An excellent way to stay positive is to have motivational sticky notes around you. You can place them on your fridge, your lamp, or on your laptop. Positive notes can include “Smile”, “You are awesome”, “Be yourself”, “You got this” or anything that will make your day going. Other methods of staying positive is to meditate for 15 minutes everyday. That way, you will have taken out all the negative energy in your body as well as feeling relaxed and calm. Another way to stay positive is to keep smiling. A smile is contagious as spreading happiness.

Blog Recap

Recapping this blog, having a positive attitude is key into feeling good and confident about yourself. Although it is not easy at times to stay positive, keeping the good thought will have you feeling less stressed about things. The feeling of anxiety may creep you in, but it is important to tell yourself that no matter what happens that you will be still standing and everything will workout. Remember, whenever there is a problem, there is always a solution. So, keep on smiling, write positive sticky notes, and the feeling of positivity will come creeping to you faster than any sense of dread can do! 😀

Until my next blog post, take care and thanks for reading.

Networking

Networking. That dreaded word. When we think of networking, we think of reaching people. It can be tough. It can be nerve racking. However, it is a must if you want to be able to find a job. This blog will explore the advantages of networking, and why it is important to expand it.

We all hear of how it is important to have your own network in order to get into the job market. However, why is it so important?

How to Network

Networking is a great way to connect with people. To make this easier, you can start by connecting with your friends and family. A simple way of connecting to people is through Linkedin. Linkedin is a social media platform that focuses on the job market. It is a great tool to meet new employers, and potentially get jobs that are not advertised. On your profile, write in your information as you would on a resume. Afterwards, you should connect with companies that you are interested in. Just look them up over Linkedin. If you find a job post that you are interested in, contact the person in charge of writing. Once there, write a brief message that you are interested in the position, and that you would like to schedule an appointment to further discuss your skills and benefits. If they answer great! If not, don’t panic! Just try to contact other employers. The important is that you try even though it can be discouraging at times should tyou not receive any feedback. However, it is important to carry on because you never know.

Another effective way to network is by attending networking events. There, you will have the opportunity to connect with potential employers. It is also a good way to develop new skills. To find an networking event near you, just google networking events, and you should be able to find one that will benefit you.

Overall, networking is essential to success because it is an inclusive way to find a job. Sometimes, ads may not be seen. In fact, only a tiny portion of job positions are advertised, meaning there are job positions available, but are not out.

So get yourself going, and start networking! Good luck on your future endeavours!!

The Path to Your Destiny

Growing up, we all had dreams. We dream of who we want to be. We usually are influenced by a celebrity, by our parents, or someone that we admire. Although we tend to reach that path, as we grow older, we start to feel that reaching our dreams is unrealistic or that life gets in the way to the point that we forget about our dreams, and do what people around us want us to do. It is as if we are living our lives based on what other people want us to live. In other words, we are not following the path that we truly want to take. This blog will help you get out of your comfort zone, and start following the path that you have been destined to reach.

It can be difficult to follow the path to success. There is always a roadblock that will try and stop you from reaching your goals. Dreams can consist on anything, rather it is a career, traveling to a place that you saw on TV, performing on stage, or to become an inspiration to people. We all want to reach our dreams, but there is always that two letter word that comes crashing at us like a giant tsunami. That two letter word is “NO”!

We tend to say “No” to our hopes and dreams, not because we do not care about them, bot because we fear of failure. We feel that achieving an objective is unrealistic, and that it cannot simply happen. Another reason is that we care too much about what ther people think, especially our loved ones. If someone that we are close to does not feel that achieving a certain goal is unrealistic, we are likely to feel less motivated in reaching our dreams simply because a loved says its not possible.

Well, this blogger is here to tell you that reaching your goals can happen if you at the very least try. Back in March, I wrote an article on seeking discomfort. If the people from yes theory did not make the effort in creating the channel, then who knows what would happen to the thousands of people that they have influenced from around the world (including yours truly).

To achieve a dream, it is best to write it down on a piece of paper. It is a small step to releasing your dreams to the world. The next step is to tell a friend or a family member about it. Or at least someone you trust or admire. That person is likely to support you, and it will feel good to get your dreams out of your chest. The next step is to team up with people who agree with your goals. Once you do so, you can brainstorm ideas to help reach an objective.

This blogger also has his share of dreams. For instance, the purpose of writing a blog is to give out my opinions, and share it with the world. My dream is to become a successful writer, and to have my writing material change the world.

Overall, following your dreams is critical because reaching the end of that path will lead to success. Although it will not always work out the way you hoped, staying on the path, and never giving up will have its rewarding moments, no matter what. If you are still unsure on staying on the path to success, you should check out the book “Unfu*k Yourself: Get Out of your head and into your life“. This book will help you leave your comfort zone, and live the life that you desire. You can other books like the one I just mentioned at your local bookstore.

“The path from dreams to success does exist. May you have the vision to find it, the courage to get on to it, and the perseverance to follow it.” – Kalpana Chawla

What did you want to be while growing? An astronaut? Teacher? Firefighter? Influencer? Are you still interested in achieving your dreams? Feel free to comment below. It will be good to rip off the bandage, and tell the world your dreams. So start exposing your dreams!

Until my next blog post, take care and thanks for reading!

Travelling and Getting out of Your Comfort Zone

Recently, this reader went on his first solo trip ever. That place is Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Let me tell you that if you have never been to Vancouver, you must go! Honestly, it is a beautiful city located on Canada’s west coast. The gorgeous mountains that can be seen from downtown Vancouver will make you go awe!

Arriving from Vancouver International Airport, the most efficient way to get to downtown Vancouver is by the sky train. It takes about 20-25 minutes, a single fare costs $3, and the train comes directly to the airport. No need to hop into taxi, nor a uber.

My trip consisted on zip-lining through the mountains of Whistler, taking a helicopter tour over Grouse Mountain, walking over the Capilano Suspension bridge, and biking through Stanley park.

Whistler

This gorgeous town north of Vancouver is perhaps well known for hosting some of the games during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Whistler village is right along the Blackcomb Mountain that provides little boutique shops and restaurants. There are plenty of activities to do in the village, including taking the lift up to the top of Blackcomb Mountain. This blogger highly recommends travelling to Whistler Village because it is for sure to be a great time, especially for those that love the mountain landscape.

Capilano Suspension Bridge

Only a 20 minute drive from downtown Vancouver, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is a must for those that love an adventure. It has a lot of history, given that it was originally a First Nations name (Kia’palano). Since becoming a tourist attraction in 1983, it is a popular destination for tourists. The bridge is located 230 feet above the river. Although it appears scary is it wobbles, it is enjoyable to cross, and the park makes this destination, an adventure to remember.

It may seem scary to walk over the Capilano suspension bridge, but it was rather exciting and amazing to cross!

Grouse Mountain

Just up from the Capilano Suspension bridge park, Grouse Mountain has lots of activities to offer. Once going to the top by a lift, the mountain offers activities including (but not limiting to) mountain biking, zip-lining, and of course a helicopter tour. The helicopter tour was although only eight minutes long, it provided views of the mountain that you will not see anywhere else. My experience with the helicopter tour was a spontaneous one as I only discovered that the mountain offered helicopter tours when arriving. I knew immediately that I wanted to do this, and therefore booked a tour. It was an rewarding expering to go on a helicopter, and would love to have an opportunity to go on one again.

Enjoying a awesome ride over Grouse Mountain!

Stanley Park

After renting a bike for the day with travellers that I have met just the night before, we descended to Stanley park. It was awesome riding around the base of the park which provided views of the mountains over Vancouver, and got the chance to relax on the beach. It is a wonderful place to spend the day with leaving the city. Attractions in the park including the Vancouver aquarium, and many trails that stretches for a few kilometers.

Travelling Solo

Travelling on your own is a great way to get of your comfort zone since you are on your own, and must rely on strangers to help you get around. However, most of the people that you will encounter are kind hearted people, and you should not have trouble getting by as long as you know the city and country that you’re visiting. At first, it felt odd to be by myself since this was my first time, but I got used to it, made new friends along the way, and it was great to be away from the everyday routine back at home.

Staying in a Hostel may seem awkward because you have to share a room with random people. However, most of the people that are staying at the Hostel are travellers like you, and are very friendly. There are activities that Hostels usually offer (at least mine did) which is a great way to meet and interact with new people.

It feels good to be back writing blogs after a summer break, and looking forward to writing more.

Until new blog post, Take care and thanks for reading.

Sticking to Your Summer Goals

Do you have a summer to do list? Having a hard time sticking with your goals? Today, this blogger will tell you his view on how to reach your summer goals (even if you are having a hard time sticking to it).

It is very common for people to have a set of goals that they want to achieve over the summer months. It is because the weather is warm, and people take time off from work or school. Here are the main objectives (in my opinion).

Top Goals

  1. Get in shape
  2. Eating Healther
  3. Go on Vacation
  4. Start a new Hobby
  5. Finishing up personal projects

The summer time is a great time to get in shape because you have more option to workout than you do in the winter. It is much easier to train outdoors in the summer than it is in the winter. A lot of people take some sort of vacation during the summer months to get away from everyday reality at home. The summer is also a good idea to start a new hobby that you didn’t have time for.

For more on how what you can achieve in the summer, click on this link. It has many suggestions to help make the best of the summer months.

While it is easy to set out goals, it is another story to stick to them. Here is why. Sometimes life gets in the way, and therefore it can be a challenge to create new habits, even during downtime from work or school. Laziness is also a weakness since we may not be motivated to take out things from our bucket lsit. The best way to reach your goals is too start as soon as you can. Do not wait until later to do it. As a matter fact, once you have done reading this blog, start setting goals and start achieving them!

Being able to take out items off your summer bucket list is a great way to step out of your comfort zone. Once you knock off several goals, you will feel very happy, and you will have no regrets because you have committed to your summer adventures.

Until my next blog post, take care and thanks for reading.
