Growing up, we all had dreams. We dream of who we want to be. We usually are influenced by a celebrity, by our parents, or someone that we admire. Although we tend to reach that path, as we grow older, we start to feel that reaching our dreams is unrealistic or that life gets in the way to the point that we forget about our dreams, and do what people around us want us to do. It is as if we are living our lives based on what other people want us to live. In other words, we are not following the path that we truly want to take. This blog will help you get out of your comfort zone, and start following the path that you have been destined to reach.
It can be difficult to follow the path to success. There is always a roadblock that will try and stop you from reaching your goals. Dreams can consist on anything, rather it is a career, traveling to a place that you saw on TV, performing on stage, or to become an inspiration to people. We all want to reach our dreams, but there is always that two letter word that comes crashing at us like a giant tsunami. That two letter word is “NO”!
We tend to say “No” to our hopes and dreams, not because we do not care about them, bot because we fear of failure. We feel that achieving an objective is unrealistic, and that it cannot simply happen. Another reason is that we care too much about what ther people think, especially our loved ones. If someone that we are close to does not feel that achieving a certain goal is unrealistic, we are likely to feel less motivated in reaching our dreams simply because a loved says its not possible.
Well, this blogger is here to tell you that reaching your goals can happen if you at the very least try. Back in March, I wrote an article on seeking discomfort. If the people from yes theory did not make the effort in creating the channel, then who knows what would happen to the thousands of people that they have influenced from around the world (including yours truly).
To achieve a dream, it is best to write it down on a piece of paper. It is a small step to releasing your dreams to the world. The next step is to tell a friend or a family member about it. Or at least someone you trust or admire. That person is likely to support you, and it will feel good to get your dreams out of your chest. The next step is to team up with people who agree with your goals. Once you do so, you can brainstorm ideas to help reach an objective.
This blogger also has his share of dreams. For instance, the purpose of writing a blog is to give out my opinions, and share it with the world. My dream is to become a successful writer, and to have my writing material change the world.
Overall, following your dreams is critical because reaching the end of that path will lead to success. Although it will not always work out the way you hoped, staying on the path, and never giving up will have its rewarding moments, no matter what. If you are still unsure on staying on the path to success, you should check out the book “Unfu*k Yourself: Get Out of your head and into your life“. This book will help you leave your comfort zone, and live the life that you desire. You can other books like the one I just mentioned at your local bookstore.

What did you want to be while growing? An astronaut? Teacher? Firefighter? Influencer? Are you still interested in achieving your dreams? Feel free to comment below. It will be good to rip off the bandage, and tell the world your dreams. So start exposing your dreams!
Until my next blog post, take care and thanks for reading!
